Camp Moremi is situated on the beautiful Xakanaxa Lagoon on the eastern edge of the permanent Okavango Delta, within the Moremi
Wildlife Reserve. Here, where the life-giving waters of the Okavango meet up with the vast Kalahari, ancient Mopane forests, open grassland, seasonal floodplains and riverine habitats have formed, creating one of the most magnificent and welcoming animal sanctuaries in all of Africa.

Shaded by giant ebony trees, the magnificent Moremi tree lodge is an elegant elevated thatch and timber structure, consisting of a main
lounge, wildlife reference library, dining room and cocktail bar.
Other facilities include a secluded swimming pool with sun deck, thatched boma and elevated viewing hide with unsurpassed views of the
Xakanaxa Lagoon. Camp Moremi accommodates only 22 guests in East African-style safari tents, individually situated on raised teak

Camp Moremi only
accepts children 6 yrs and over. No childcare / baby-sitters are provided for at any of our properties. Children must be under the
care of their parents at all times.
Children aged 16 yrs (inclusive) & younger to share with a parent at all times.
Families with children 6 years to 11 years must book private activities at an additional rate, subject to availability. At camps where Mokoro and walking activities are offered, we reserve the right to amend or limit such activities at the discretion of the Camp Management and guides.
How to get there
Access is by charter aircraft from Kasane (served by daily road transfers from Victoria Falls and Maun to Xakanaxa airstrip. The lodge
transfers guests to and from Xakanaxa airstrip. Camp Moremi may also be reached by 4x4 vehicle or by unique boat transfer from Camp
Xakanaxa airstrip: 19.21S 23.27E. The dirt airstrip is 800 metres long and its condition varies. Twin-engined aircraft are not allowed to
land at Xakanaxa without permission from the DCA. Maximum weight: 2 300 kg. Maximum aircraft size recommended: Cessna 206.

Generator power (AC 220V) is available during the day and evening. Video batteries can be re-charged. Tented accommodation is
equipped with a 220-volt AC plug for hairdryers and invert 12-volt DC lighting at night once generator is switched off.
